Happy Anniversary - Hollywood Poker!
On Wednesday November 9th 2005, HollywoodPoker.com celebrated it’s 1st year anniversary. Celebrity Players, James Woods and Vince Van Patten were joined by other Hollywood Poker Celebrities and the Hollywood Poker Girls to commemorate a year of unprecedented success at the net’s hottest online poker site. This celebration was the pinnacle of what Hollywood Poker has come to represent: Fun, star-appeal, poker and community. All of the Celebrities reported having a fabulous time and many commented that it was great to see friends they hadn’t seen in awhile other than on Hollywood Poker. You’d have to be at the Oscars to see more Celebrities!
The night included a silent auction and the launch of the 2006 Hollywood Poker Calendar. Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of checks to The American Red Cross and Dennis Quaid’s charity of choice, The International Hospital for Children for funds raised during Hollywood Poker’s incredible Hurricane Relief tournaments. There will be more exciting Celebrity backed charity events in the future, so stay tuned to Hollywood Poker to keep informed.
